I am developing strategies for regenerating power more efficiently. Today I rode 40 miles on 2/3 of a 500 wh battery, it looks like over reasonably varied terrain I can expect 50 miles or more, less the more I carry. Next week I will try to get up to Wintergreen Mtn for the hill climb test & we'll see if the motor can handle 6.75 miles of uphill riding with an average grade of about 12%. It's not the steepest road in the U.S. or anything like that but, it's steep & well paved. The goal is 30 min to the top, the road bike climb record is a little over 33 minutes If I get close to the time set by a pro level rider I'll be very happy.
